Ola!

No, this isn’t a leftover photo from summer — this is from last week. Mommy, daddy and I spent seven days in Puerto Rico with Grandma Jean and Grandpa Bill. While everyone back in the Northeast suffered in below freezing temperatures, I enjoyed 80-degree days. I loved the ocean (see video below) — especially karate chopping the waves. Turns out Mommy is quite a good body surfer, much to Daddy ‘s and my surprise.

When we weren’t at the beach, we explored 500-year-old old military forts in Old San Juan. There was also a festival with music and food and really cheap beer that you could drink while walking around. Heinekin for $2 — Daddy was in heaven.

PS – you can view non-people photos from PR at Mommy’s other blog.

Happy New Year

I don’t quite get what a “new year” means, but we celebrated by going sleigh riding.

This is right after I did a face plant.

Mommy’s snow pants were too tight (she says they are 10 years + old and things tend to “shift” over a decade) but she didn’t let them stop her from enjoying the sledding. Of course, she had to roll sideways out of the sled, then on her knees to get up. Daddy said mommy was wearing Jordache jeans, whatever those are.

Here’s a video clip of daddy and me going down the hill – if you turn up the volume, you’ll hear him say “ahhhhhh” down the hill.
